It will be busy next week for the Blinkers On Team. True Visionary will be going on 5/25 in a MSW race going 6 1/2 on the Santa Anita downhill turf course. This will be his first race off the layoff and after yesterdays 6 furlong bullet work conditioner Mike Puype said he is ready. Jockey Tyler Baze will be in the irons, we enter on Thursday. The following day Humming Beethoven is scheduled to try and break her maiden on the same downhill turf course. Her last effort was super, finishing only 2 lengths back after the long layoff. We expect her to move forward and with a little racing luck get her picture taken! Bullwhip is next up, trying to make it 2 in a row. He is coming off a smashing 7 length win in a MSW race a couple weeks ago. He seems to love the bull ring at Charles Town so we are confident that he is going to be very tough in this NW1 allowance race on 5/30.
In other racing news...our undefeated stakes winner, Red Outlaw, is galloping and will have a breeze shortly. We are pointing to stakes at Del Mar in July and August. Off the Deep End is almost ready to go, we will be looking for a Cal Bred race in the next condition book. Peter loves this horse but said he has been a "slow learner" when it comes to the gate. When the light bulb goes on we will be ready to fire! Nothing to Hide will go again at Golden Gate when the next book comes out. She is coming off a solid 2nd place finish when Russell Baze took the call last race and should go favored to get the job done next out. Our 2 year old colt, Chilled Mousse, continues to train forwardly as does the newest addition to the stable, Goose Bumps. This 2 year old filly by High Cotton has one beautiful stride! (shares available). Finally Kiss at Midnight, Salute to Summer and Island Freedom are in training and we have such high hopes for all 3 of them it makes it tough to be patient!
