First Dudette will try and get her first stakes win in the 75K Angel's Flight Stake at Santa Anita on 5/12. This race is for 3 year old fillies going 7 furlongs on the main track. The 7 furlongs hits our filly right between the eyes and coming out of a G1 she should like the class relief as well. We are looking for a big effort. The day before Angels N Devildogs will try for her 2nd win at Golden Gate in a claiming 12.5K race going 5 1/2 on the main track.
In other racing news...Our stakes winning filly Steph Being Steph is less than a month away from being ready to run. She was given a little freshening and has come back training lights out! Also, 3 time stakes winner Right Hand Man is back from the farm and back on the work tab. Good to have him in the barn again!
It's that time of year and the 2 year old's are going to post. It looks like the first 2 year old to enter the gate for Blinkers On will be our Mucho Macho Man Cal-bred, A Man's Man. Our big boy is living up to his name and should be ready to make his first start by mid June. We expect the next two to race will be the two Cal-bred fillies recently purchased by Blinkers On at the Barretts 2 year old in training sale. Our Violence and Square Eddie filly are training "terrific" according to conditioner Brain Koriner and will be ready as soon as the meet starts at Del Mar. There are just a couple of shares left in these two offerings if you are ready to make that move from spectator to owner!
Finally, in addition to the previously mentioned runners, Blinkers On will have Cupid's Claws, Grinningeartoear and Don'tteasethetiger coming off the ranch within the next 60 days, it will be a busy racing summer for Blinkers On, just the way we like it.
