Humming Beethoven has been training lights out at Los Alamitos in preparation for her next start at Santa Anita on Sunday. This is a MSW race for fillies 3 and up going 6 1/2 furlongs on the downhill turf course. Tyler Baze has been working Humming Beethoven in the mornings and will have the mount on Sunday. We have always had high hopes for our beautiful daughter of Mr. Greeley, now it the time! Nothing to Hide is being pointed to a 5 1/2 furlong dash at Golden Gate on 5/18. Coming off a 4th place finish in a MSW race a couple of week s ago she should be plenty ready to take on this slightly softer bunch.
In other racing news...True Visionary is back in training and couldn't be doing any better. After jockey Tyler Baze worked True Visionary he told conditioner Mike Puype "this is a serious horse", let's hope he's right! Bullwhip is settling in at Charles Town and will have his first breeze over the track shortly. I can't wait to see his speed at 4 1/2 furlongs! Top of the world is looking to rebound at Turf Paradise later in the month, a better trip in his last race might have gotten him his second win. Red Outlaw will ship back into Peter Miller's barn next week after a brief freshening. He will be trying to stay undefeated and 4 for 4 in his next start. Salute to Summer and Island Freedom are enjoying their time at Magali farm with our 2 year old filly, Kiss at Midnight. Finally, Chilled Mousse has shipped into the Peter Miller barn at San Luis Rey and has already had a couple of breezes over the track. Peter really likes the way he moves and says he looks like a 2 turn horse.
