Right Hand Man got his second stakes win on Saturday with a 3 length win in the $50,000 Golden Nugget Stake at Golden Gate Fields. After hopping at the start he quickly made up ground, then pressed the pacesetter around the far turn and pulled away in the stretch for the score. Right Hand Man, our handsome 2 year old son of Street Boss, now has 3 wins in 5 starts and earnings of over $110,000.
In other racing news...Plane Lucky will make her first stakes appearance in the $75,000 Bear Fan Stake at Golden Gate Fields on 12/4. This race is for Cal-bred fillies and mares going 6 furlongs on the Tapeta. We feel she has earned the opportunity, the horse she beat convincingly in her last start just won the Betty Grable Stake at Del Mar over the weekend. Maven Harry goes to post tomorrow at Golden Gate Fields in a Starter Allowance race for 2 year old colts and geldings. He seems to love the synthetic at Golden Gate based on his stylish maiden win and the way he has been training over it. Maven Harry is the 9-5 morning line favorite. Jet Ski will be representing the horse racing partnership at Del Mar on Friday in a 1 mile (turf) MSW CA race for 2 year old's. We having been waiting for months to get him on the grass. His 2 full siblings both won going long on the weeds including G3 winner Poshky. Last One Standing is pointed to a 20K claiming race at Del Mar on 11/25. This race is for 3 year old's only and these races have had trouble filling, fingers crossed. Decoded and our unraced 2 year old Gator Don't Play are training at Santa Anita, no races are targeted at this point. Finally, Gee Street will be coming in from the farm after her brief freshening, can't wait to have her back. We have high hopes for this filly!
