Maven Harry will kick off the new meet at Golden Gate on 12/26 in a 5 1/2 furlong claiming race for 2 year old's. We think the drop in class will get "Harry" back in the winners circle, he is the 3-1 morning line favorite. Jet Ski runs on 12/29 at Santa Anita in a Cal-bred MSW race for 2 year old's going a mile on the main track. He drew the 2 hole, a great post with his speed. It doesn't look like there is much other speed in the race, wire to wire? We are running for the 54K purse and the $17,500 Cal-bred bonus, go Jet Ski! Last One Standing will run on the last day of the year at Santa Anita in one of 2 races, a 16K claimer or a 25K claimer for 3 year old's. We have been entering and the races haven't been filling, this guy needs to run! Plane Lucky will try and rebound in an allowance race right after the first of the year. Gator Don't Play will also go in January when he makes his first start for the horse racing partnership in a Cal-bred MSW race. Trainer Richard Baltas thinks our big son of Decarchy has some real talent. He sure looks the part, what a handsome boy. Finally, Gee Street is back on the work tab and is training lights out for Baltas, it looks like the brief freshening did the trick.
In other news...Blinkers On will be attending the Barretts mixed sale on January 17 and will be looking to add to the stable. We will be looking at the Cal-bred just turned 2 year old's.
