Red Outlaw will be looking to remain undefeated and earn his first stakes win in The Baffle Stake at Santa Anita Park on Sunday 2/16. The Baffle is the 3rd race on the card and will be run at 6 1/2 furlongs on the downhill turf course and carries a 75K purse. Jockey Joel Rosario and Red Outlaw will be coming out of the 6 hole with 7 horses going to post. We think Red Outlaw will love the turf with his pedigree! Red Outlaw is 3-1 on the morning line, good luck to the Blinkers on partners.
In other racing news, Top of the World is entered in a Maiden Special Weight race at Turf Paradise on 2/18. This race is at 7 1/2 furlongs on the turf and Top of the World will have a huge shot at getting his picture taken if his bad gate behavior is behind him. Best of luck to the Top of the World partnership! Nothing to Hide will make her 2nd start in the 2-3 weeks at Santa Anita. We will be talking to conditioner Peter Miller in the next day or so to discuss our race options. Bullwhip disappointed in his last start at Golden Gate Fields, he jumped to the lead as he has now done in 3 of his 4 races but gave it up in the lane. Trainer Steve Sherman is going to try and get the horse to take back early so he will finish better, a work in progress. Humming Beethoven and Off the Deep end continue to train forwardly as they get closer to making a start.
True Visionary, Stole a Kiss, Island Freedom and Salute to Summer are enjoying their time at Magali Farm with the Blinkers On 2 year olds. Chilled Mousse, our handsome son of The Pamplemousse looks very promising. Physically he is a men among boys and he has a big, ground eating stride. We have a couple of shares still available, check out the offerings page on the website.
