Bullwhip will tackle a field of 8 on Wednesday at Charles Town in pursuit of his first victory. This is a Maiden Special Weight race going 4 1/2 furlongs and carries a purse of 26K. Bullwhip will be coming out of the 8 hole with Charles Town's leading jockey J Montano in the irons. Great post, speed, all systems are a go! Nothing to Hide will look to rebound from a dull effort on 5/11. She is being pointed to a Maiden 20K race going 5 1/2 furlongs at Golden Gate Fields. Hopefully she can get the lead against the easier competition and then finish with a little more interest.
In other racing news... Humming Beethoven came out of her last race in good shape and will be pointed to the next MSW race going down the hill at Santa Anita. She was only 2 lengths behind the winner after being off for more than a year and should take step forward in her next out which should put her right there at the wire. Off the Deep End and True Visionary are about a month away from a start. Both are training great for trainers Peter Miller and Mike Puype. Our talented 2 year old Chilled Mousse is not far behind them. He trains better the farther he goes, a very good sign!Kiss at Midnight and Island Freedom are a couple of weeks away from leaving Magali Farm for the racetrack. Salute to Summer and our stakes winner, Red Outlaw, are back in training, great to have them back!
Finally, Blinkers On purchased a beautiful High Cotton filly at the Spring OBS sale. She has a big, ground eating stride and will be pointed to Del Mar. Shares will available by later next week so be sure to visit the website for details.
