Last One Standing is pointing to opening day at Del Mar (7/16) to make his debut for Blinkers On. This is a MCL 80K race going 5 furlongs for 2 year old's and carries a purse of $44,000. Last One Standing has not missed a beat in his training, doing everything we ask of him. He is a big horse that looks and trains like he may want a little more than 5 furlongs but we know he will be running at the end! Plane Lucky, our good looking daughter of Lucky Pulpit, is scheduled to make her first start the following week on 7/22. This is a MCL 50K race for CA bred 2 year old fillies going 5 furlongs. She is a speedy sort and we have the red hot Tyler Baze in the irons. Tyler is so good out of the gate, a perfect fit!
In other racing news...Red Outlaw continues to train forwardly for his return to stakes action at Del Mar. Our 4 time stakes winner couldn't be doing any better. Off the Deep End will be pointed to a 5 furlong allowance race on the grass at the Sonoma County Fair meet on 7/30. Mr. Deep End lost all chance in his last race when he stumbled coming out of the gate. He and jockey William Antongeorgi look to make amends! Look Me in the Eye, our talented 2 year old son of Marino Marini, will try to get in the Del Mar winner's circle in early August. He is fresh off a 3rd place finish at Santa Anita in his debut where he got caught in a speed duel and tired to finish 3rd. A little more real estate and a better trip should get the job done! Goose Bumps and Awesome and Ready will see action when racing returns to Golden Gate. Finally, Echo Chamber, our 2 year old Majesticperfection filly will get 60 days off after coming down sick. We can't wait to get her back, we have high hope for this girl!
